The music of Kalandor blends ancient Hungarian motifs with
the sounds of the 21st century, combining tradicional instruments with
modern ones. Kalandor was originally founded in 1999 (then playing under
the name Machineast). After some experimentation with style and sound,
the band reached its current composition: Péter Mészáros,
lead vocals and composer; Péter Sándor, bass guitar and
composer; László Kreutz drums; Csaba Kaszás, guitar;
Tamás Kovács, keyboard; Judit Cselei, vocals, and Attila
Varga, violin, as guest. The band's first CD under the Kalandor name
- "Flower of the Spheres" (Világok virága) -
was released in 2003. Kalandor has played numerous concerts and has
performed on TV and radio programs in Hungary. By the way Kalandor name
means ADVENTURER.
